In late January, David Andelman, editor of World Policy Journal, spoke at the Columbia University Graduate School of Journalism about his experience at CBS News, Forbes magazine, and now at the helm of WPJ, which celebrated its 25th anniversary last fall. Andelman describes the quarterly magazine as a progressive mix of reportage and analysis, with an emphasis on global perspectives.
The magazine recently published an essay by pop star Ryan Adams on the future of world music, and Andelman says he’s looking for other pieces that break the mold.
