Karen Tumulty at Time posts this chart from Speaker Pelosi showing how much worse the job losses have been in this recession than in past ones, part of Pelosi’s argument to pass the stimulus bill.
It’s eye-opening, to say the least.
There is a lot of pain out, we haven’t hit bottom by any means.
Is that where she got the "500 million people are losing thier jobs a month" from? I wonder how the press wold have reacted to that if it were Palin who said it.

that is a dramatic chart, no question - i'd enjoy seeing a stimulus spending -> job growth chart beside that one - as if we were pretending that that isn't already an assumed fact.
