Citizen Journalism: The Smackdown

I wrote yesterday about “After Fort Hood, another example of how ‘citizen journalists’ can’t handle the truth,” a Tech Crunch column that caused a firestorm over the weekend.

On this morning’s Brian Lehrer Show on WNYC, Lehrer hosted the column’s author, Paul Carr, and Noted Citizenjournophile Jeff Jarvis to debate the matter as gentlemen do. (“Going to be on @brianlehrer about 11a, rising to @paulcarr’s linkbait,” Jarvis Twittered this morning. “Regret may follow.”)
