Dear Diane, 8-1-12
I was sexually assualted in my Barracks in the Army and beaten up Fall 1974.
I reported it to the Company Commander. MY Captain and others Knew I was in the right but the chain of command failed to do anything about it. I went to Court and had to defend my self. I got a Honorable Discharge. The Army, my Company held me over from basic training. I found out years later they did that to protect me but I didn't get to go to my Schooling when I could have. I'm 57 years old now 100% disabled Vietnam Veteran. I have had to fight the VA to get my Benefits they never paid me my back Pay from the Military. Can you help

I WRITE TO YOU IN DESPERATION....I ask that you start from this day forward to please cover the news that is of importance during these times we are facing. I do not watch your news reports and have not for the last 4 years. The day I saw Couric attack Palin in the vicious mad dog rant, that was bout' it for me. You have worked to hard, for to long to become the NEWS READING LADY....A news person on your level, I feel should understand what you are reporting and the very content of the message. Girl, there is no way you could believe this stuff you are reporting....Do not be a push over, grow some go'nads. Sure u need the money, the job but where or where does the real character of a news person come into play....this day and this time. We are dying on the vine out here....I am 60 something, retired, happy, white female. Worked all my life...have a home, a grown child. Bend there and done what ever I pretty much wanted to all these years.
Diane, sit back, take a moment, go to the streets, towns, businesses, churches see the mul-titudes see what is happening...without the in-put from who ever the H that is that's shooting you the bull. You, I hope are smarter than this news reading person... I will say "THEY" are making you out to be. I was a Sawyer fan for years....Girlie, think. think, think look around. ( Excuse, grammer errors, spelling, rambling etc. please.) Girlie is friendly not demeaning.
