Ecstasy: In Tablet Form Since ’94

As tech bloggers, media-watchers, and pretty much all the remaining members of the journalism profession rumor-monger and wax enthusiastic about the new gadget that will eclipse iPhones and laptop computers and candy-coated unicorns in net awesomeness–and as they prepare to hurl their collective iPanties at said gadget in recognition of that fact–it’s helpful to remember that a tablet computer is, in fact, nothing new. Behold, the early–and eerily prescient–version of Apple’s iSlate*:
