I realize it has been a long, long time since this mindset at our TV networks could reasonably be considered surprising—or even, really, disturbing. It just is. And yet, how sad. Here is CBS’s senior VP Paul Friedman complaining about President Obama’s prime-time press conferences:
It’s an enormous financial cost when the president replaces one of those prime-time hours. The news divisions also have mixed feelings about whether they are being used.
What a country.

I knew he was lying when he said the middle class people of the US would not see any
tax increase. I hope the people of the US who
voted for Obama are happy. The middle class
people of the US are going to be ones the
tax increase is going to hurt the most. It was
a sad day in American when Obama was put into
office. This is a man who has no class and
does not know what class is.

Since when did "not ruling out" a tax increase = inevitable and specifically targeted to gouge?

What the "middle class" does not understand is that they may not personally have taxes raised, but when small business has their taxes raised... Guess what, EVERYONE pays more for the same product you bought a year ago. So no Mr. President, you are not raising taxes on the "middle class", you are killing them at the grocery, department, and special goods stores all across America. To this, I SAY THANK YOU!!!!!
