I assume, this being launch week, that the content aggregators at The Fox Nation are pretty busy. So, in case they’d like to link to Oprah Winfrey’s interview of Michelle Obama (in the current issue of O, The Oprah Magazine), I just read the piece and I’ve come up with a headline for them. Keeping in mind how Fox Nation approached the recent AP report about the Huffington Post’s new investigative journalism venture (that is, “Huffington Post to rummage through your trash“), I think I’ve come up with something that might just work:
Michelle Obama To Oprah: “Sometimes I Pinch [My Daughters].”
Which refers, of course, to this mid-interview exchange:
MICHELLE OBAMA: …[The White House] is our home now. But the kids didn’t act any differently [once we moved in].
OPRAH: They didn’t?
MICHELLE OBAMA: No. They have been so steady and rock solid that I pinch myself sometimes. Sometimes I pinch them—are you real? Because they’ve adjusted so well…
So, Fox Nation, feel free to take it or leave it. (If you don’t want the headline, maybe some cable news channel might? It’s chryon-ready.)
