Wondering what it takes to break into CNN? It may be a
hair thing.
U.S. News reports that former CNN anchor Daryn Kagan, back in the day and at the suggestion of an agent helping her land a job, “had her curls cut into a pixie” and, as she writes in her upcoming book, “two weeks later, CNN hired me as a sports anchor.”
A pixie? This clearly happened a long time ago. The sure-thing cable news coif for women these days is more Smurfette than Mia Farrow.
