It’s On at Slate

July 21, 2009

Michael Kinsley announces a “highly unscientific experiment ” at Slate to determine “who’s better informed, newspaper readers or Web surfers?” A question that will supposedly be answered in some fashion –if “highly unscientific[ally]” — after “two (mostly) newspaper journalists” and “two (mostly) Web journalists” read for the next three days only print newspapers (for the former) and only non-newspaper-related Web content (for the latter) and then Slate posts “a discussion of the day’s news in which our guinea pigs’ knowledge and understanding—or ignorance and misunderstanding—of the news will be informally tested.”
