Here is a quote provided by Bill Clinton, discussing the vagaries of Life After Being President during a press conference in Istanbul, Turkey: “It’s good that we have a (term) limit. Otherwise I would have stayed until I was carried away in a coffin. Or defeated in an election. I loved doing the job.”
Pretty banal fare, right? Clinton enjoyed being president So Much that he never wanted to stop, blah, blah, blah.
Here, now, is the lede of the Reuters story that summarizes the former president’s musings on the matter:
ISTANBUL (Reuters) - Former U.S. President Bill Clinton said on Monday he would have preferred to leave the White House in a coffin because he loved being commander in chief, but signaled his political life was over.
Yes. And here is the headline of that story: “Clinton wishes he had left White House ‘in a coffin.’”
And here is that self-same story, linked on The Huffington Post, and featured smack in the middle of the The Internet Newspaper’s home page this afternoon:

Sigh.
