… is what the Washington Post’s Style columnist — yes, Robin Givhan (of I see Clinton cleavage fame)— wants you to know about Supreme Court nominee Elena Kagan. And what does she expect you to make of that? Here is the actual photo and caption in the Post accompanying Givhan’s story: “UNUSUAL: Most women, including Sen. Amy Klobuchar, cross their legs when sitting, but not Kagan.”

Givhan goes on to report, among other things (and here is one critique of some of those things), that Kagan “doesn’t appear to ever cross her legs,” not “at the ankles, either, the way so many older women do.”
Turns out? Kagan sometimes doesn’t sit “with her legs ajar.” Below, a few pictures of the nominee looking a little more like “most women:”

Hmmmm.... I won't sleep a wink unless I know this? Who cares? This is what we've come to expect from journalists?

Very, very nice find, Liz! Is this kind of thing the WaPo should do a correction? And why does Ms. Givhan have a job? One would think Washington Post would be embarrassed, but actually they are absolutely shameless.
