Per Kevin Drum, it seems that The Washington Post, at least, has not heeded Megan’s plea.

Drum’s comparison of the Post’s story count to Politico’s is instructive, as the paper’s determination to be the publication “for Washington, about Washington” has given its coverage a decidedly Politico-style feel at times. As for whether that’s a good thing, your mileage may vary.
