…is not a headline from an American news source (if the first word didn’t give that away — Sudan?!— surely the second word did). Per the BBC, Lubna Ahmed Hussein, a Sudanese journalist employed by the UN in Sudan and charged there with wearing “indecent” clothing (pants) has waived her immunity, granted because she works for the UN, and opted to continue with her trial in hopes of changing the law. If found guilty, Hussein “could face 40 lashes.” Also:
[A]nother female journalist who wrote an article supporting Ms Hussein has been charged with defaming the police, which can carry a hefty fine.

Information on such arrests, charges, and trials for wearing perfectly acceptable clothing (such as a pants suit) should be mailed to every mosque in the West which professes Islam as a "peaceful and loving" religion. Let's do it.
