Yesterday’s tea parties may have lacked message clarity, but they more than made up for it by creating an opportunity for papers to feature punny headlines and people in silly outfits. Here’s a sampling of front pages around the country, courtesy of the Newseum.

This is probably the most prominent coverage astroturf has ever gotten. It wasn't a real rally, it was a Fox News-promoted congregation of crazy people (just read their signs). Yet it was reported on as actual civil unrest.

Ahhhh.....dismissive of the proleteriat now Shii?
At the tea party event I went to, people made and brought their own signs. There were Political people of all stripes there. But I saw no investigative Journalists at the Van Nuys tea parties talking to the public involved.
Instead, all I see is closed minded people following Ezra Klein's JounoList.
I thought people in Journalism were supposed to be skeptical of people in POWER, not those protesting them .
