Mom. C’mon, Mom. Please? Vote for Obama. Okay? Mom? You’re voting for Obama, right? Why do you hate hope? Mooooom! MOM!
Young people are apparently nagging their parents into voting for Obama, we learn from the front page of today’s New York Times. Yes, not only is Sen. Obama ahead in the popular vote, the delegate count, and the number of states won to date, he is also, apparently, “leading in the pestering sweepstakes.”
To be sure, as they say, “No poll has counted Obama supporters who made their choice at the urging of their children,” and “There’s no telling whether these youthful importunings on Mr. Obama’s behalf will tip the balance for the nomination…”
