This Sunday’s New York Times Magazine, a “special issue:”
Saving The World’s Women
Actually, I’ve been looking forward to reading this issue since Nicholas Kristof started teasing it on Twitter a while back (Kristof and his wife, Sheryl WuDunn, have co-written a book, Half the Sky, which is excerpted in this weekend’s “special issue focused on women in the developing world.”) And, as for my bad-joke-of-a-headline, maybe more people will find time to take a look at this (being on vacation and all; beach reading!) than might if the Times had opted to run this “special issue” at a….”newsier” time?
