The Senate Armed Services Committee is currently holding a hearing into the “Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell” policy, questioning Defense Secretary Robert Gates, Chairman of the Joint Chiefs Mike Mullen, and the authors of a Pentagon report on DADT that concludes a repeal would not be harmful to the military.
