Henry, CNN’s White House correspondent, “writes his [questions for the president] word for word on white paper torn from the notebook he’s using, so there’s no danger of cards dropping to the ground,” reports Politico’s Mike Allen in a piece about how various White House reporters approach these press conferences, devise their questions, etc. (Missing in the piece: How Helen Thomas psychs herself up.)
