Phrases used in Barbara Boxer and John Kerry’s reply to Sarah Palin’s Washington Post op-ed on cap-and-trade that weren’t used in Palin’s original piece:
1) “Global warming”
2) “Climate change”
That has to count as a step in the right direction. It would still be nice, though, for the Post to make some space on its op-ed page for actual experts on this subject, rather than the same politicians who are regularly quoted in the news section.
