“The bass not served w cannabis! ‘Pot’ short for potato!” read an urgent tweet minutes ago from ABC News’s George Stephanopolous regarding the menu served at the lunch he shared earlier today with President Obama (and Charlie Gibson, Katie Couric, Bob Schieffer, Wolf Blitzer, John King, Bret Baier and Chris Wallace). Stephanopoulos was clarifying what he’d Twittered twelve minutes prior (emphasis mine):
WH menu: lobster bisque w beignets, seared Virginia bass w leeks and pot, pound cake w fruit compote and lemon sorbet was one of several journalists who lunched with President Obama today.
