New York City’s Trinity Church is marking Good Friday in an oh-so-modern way: it’s Twittering it.
No, seriously. The famous church is performing a Passion Play via everybody’s favorite microblogging service—an experiment that, per Trinity’s Web site, “marries this timeless Christian tradition with the latest in social networking trends.”
Indeed. Join @_JesusChrist, @Mary_Mother_Of, @Pontius_Pilate, @marymagdalene, and the whole cast as they reenact Scripture in 140 characters of less—and attempt, in the process, to answer that age-old question: What Would Jesus Tweet?
