Which to carry live: Rev. Al Sharpton and Michael Jackson’s father holding a news conference about Jackson’s funeral arrangements; Or, high-speed police chase in Dallas.

Cable?

Fox News interrupted the former and has been with the latter for several minutes (Shep Smith on car chase: “We do know that vehicles run out of gas.”) MSNBC switched back and forth, then opted for split-screen. (Anchor on car chase: “This guy appears to be very good at evading authority.”)
