So, strictly speaking, the following is not the best of headlines. It’s unclear; it’s rather absurd; and, ultimately, it begs more questions than it answers.
And yet, despite all that: “Ovens on Feet Beckon Germans to Bratwurst”–a New York Times treatment of the Berlin phenomenon that is roving sausage-grillers–deserves some kind of special place in the annals of headline-writing. Rock on, Times copy staff.
