What with the (cable, blog, Beltway) chatter about this “Birthers” business crowning seemingly reaching some kind of a head lately, what are the chances that it will come up in some capacity during tonight’s prime time presidential news conference? (I mean, it sort of sounds health care-related.) Maybe a member of the White House press corps has already been contacted by the White House and notified that he might be called on tonight to ask the president a question from a “Birther?” Something like:

Pres. Obama: [White House reporter], all across the Internet, we’ve been seeing a lot of reports about my birth certificate. I know there may actually be questions from people fixated on my birth who are communicating through the Internet. Do you have a question?
