The New York Times today prints a list of top monthly magazines and ranks them according to whether the number of ad pages in their September issues rose, stayed stable or fell from ad pages in the same month of last year.

Usually if ad placement is thriving, it means a magazine is also enjoying a surge in readership. With that, and no other comment from us, the results:

Boom Times

Martha Stewart Living
Good Housekeeping
Parenting
