“Twitter-Mania Sweeps The Nation,” reported NBC News’s Jamie Gangel on this morning’s Today Show, during which Gangel dropped all the names we’ve come to expect in our reporting on Twitter: Shaq, MC Hammer, Demi Moore, NBC’s own David Gregory…
And although it was Stephen Colbert of Comedy Central’s The Colbert Report who helped introduce Gangel’s segment, her piece looked, felt, and sounded like one delivered by a Daily Show correspondent (damned if that’s not Samantha Bee’s voice in the initial voice-over — “All of a sudden, Twitter seems to be…everywhere” — said in a tone half-ominous, half-disapproving).
