Today, at the Paley Center for Media in Manhattan, a collection of smart thinkers will be convening to discuss “A Way Forward: Solving the Challenges of the News Frontier.” Sponsored by the Carnegie Corporation of New York (a CJR funder), the conference will consider such urgent and fundamental questions as the effects of new distribution models, the consequences of audience fragmentation, and the challenges and opportunities of journalism’s new emphasis on entrepreneurialism.
