A. Brad Schwartz is the author of Broadcast Hysteria: Orson Welles’s War of the Worlds and the Art of Fake News (Hill and Wang, 2015). He received his PhD in American history from Princeton University in 2025 and is currently writing a biography of Edward R. Murrow.
