Sharon Ringel and Angela Woodall are working on a study for the Tow Center which focuses on the preservation of news content—print and digital—and the ways in which news organizations are dealing with the challenges of long term conservation while ensuring future access to the first draft of history. Sharon Ringel is a Postdoctoral researcher at the Columbia University School of Journalism and a Research Fellow at the Tow Center for Digital Journalism. Angela Woodall is a Communications Ph.D. candidate at the Columbia University School of Journalism and a Research Fellow at the Tow Center for Digital Journalism.
