According to a recent Pew study, 15 percent of adults online use Twitter — 8 percent daily. I’m pretty sure most of that 8 percent are journalists. Journalists love Twitter, whether using it for writing, conversation, or fighting. And I love to watch—and judge—the sparring.

Eighty-one-year-old media mogul Rupert Murdoch, who’s stirred controversy with his tweets in the past, decided to comment on a recent story in his New York Post last night.
DECISION: I’m not shocked @RupertMurdoch assumes an overweight black woman is on welfare. I am a bit surprised the News Corp. damage control team hasn’t managed to convince him to stop tweeting. Perhaps they’re busy with other matters?
