So you may have heard, today, about the existence of troubling poll previously making its way around Facebook–one that asked, in apparent seriousness: “Should Obama be killed?” (Choices: “1) Yes 2) No 3) Maybe 4) If he cuts my health care.”)

Yes. Well. The Secret Service has been alerted to the poll’s existence; sentient people the Web over have sighed in frustration at learning of it (“the graffiti on the virtual wall of our times,” TPM’s David Kurtz put it); and now we learn the identity of the blogger who broke the story: GottaLaff, who writes at Political Carnival. Here’s the screenshot she grabbed of the poll, the digital-media equivalent of a smoking gun:
