Daniel Golden retired in 2024 as a senior editor and reporter at ProPublica. The author of two books and coauthor of one, he won a Pulitzer Prize in 2004 as a reporter at the Wall Street Journal for a series of articles on preferences for children of alumni and donors in college admissions.
