Susan McGregor and Hugo Zylberberg are the authors of “Understanding the General Data Protection Regulation: A Primer for Global Publishers.” Susan is assistant director of the Tow Center for Digital Journalism and an assistant professor at Columbia Journalism School, where she helps supervise the dual-degree program in Journalism and Computer Science. Hugo is a Tech and Policy Fellow at Columbia SIPA focusing on data protection, cybersecurity, and international relations.
